Hyatt Place Denver Downtown

The Room & lobby was Spacious & Clean. The staff at Front Desk, Housekeeping & Food Service were very Helpful & Courteous. Breakfast was of amazing high quality & plentiful. Big variety. Lobby was large & inviting. Warm atmosphere. I like that they had a Computer & Printer available 24 hours. Also, laundry/dryer machines available 24 hours. Overall, good value. Only Two blocks from 16 Street which has many Restaurants & CVS & Walgreens Drug stores. Only one block from "16 Street Free Red Bus". Runs frequently. This Bus will take you to Union Station, which has a lot of Dining Spots. Plus Whole Foods across the Street.

The free breakfast was good, including when you compare it to similar experiences at other hotels like this--good variety of food, fresh food, clean space to eat in. The staff looked overwhelmed keeping up with putting out clean plates and utensils, etc., but no big deal. Maybe they are understaffed or maybe the hotel was more full than normal. Hotel is clean and quiet and felt either fairly new or newly remodeled. Nice spacious lobby. Kind staff. Room was comfortable and clean. For some reason there was an annoying noise that appeared to come from the pipes whenever anyone in the general vicinity was using the water in their room. Maybe it was a water pressure thing. This was loud enough, including during the dark of night, that it made it hard for one in our group to sleep who was nearest the bathroom. Again, we had no control over this noise--it was coming from surrounding rooms, evidently related to the use of water. The valet parking here is not cheap--65 or 75 bucks a day. We opted to park instead at a nearby private lot, which seemed fine and was way way cheaper, though with a lot of these private companies with unmonitored lots you never know when you are going to get a notice in the mail in which they accuse you falsely of not paying. Downtown Denver is pretty busy as far as car traffic, so I would say it was fairly annoying to use this downtown hotel as our launching place for our trip. If I could do it again I would have stayed out farther in the suburbs, which would have prob saved some hotel money and saved on parking too, plus hassle. All told though, this hotel is a good value and a nice place and I would not be hesitant to go back.

The rooms were clean and spacious. The staff were helpful and friendly, especially the staff in the bar/breakfast area! The regular beds were comfortable. Most downtown museums, restaurants, and activities were in walking distance or a very short Uber ride away making it easy to see the city.

Breakfast was amazing and everything was was very clean.

The reception was nice, gave me a lot of advises were to go for dinner etc. The room size was huge, the biggest room were I have ever been. Gym is ok, pool was almost empty when I went there (which is nice).
